FOCUSING : A Mindful Practice – Listening to the Wisdom of our Bodies
Focusing is a gentle and compassionate way of listening to ourselves that is different from our everyday awareness. It is a mind-body practice of attending to how our body holds a particular life situation – a relationship, a joy, a problem. Whether the issue is large or small, Focusing teaches us how to access a valuable resource that we all carry within, deepening our self-understanding, reducing stress, and often bringing us fresh insights. This mindful process can easily be incorporated into our everyday lives.
